As it could only be, at LUQUE ECOLOGICO we are deeply concerned and involved with our surroundings, and therefore, participation in social projects that help develop our community is one of our priorities.
In our company, we believe that transparency, communication, and dialogue are vital aspects for building long-term trust-based relationships with our community.
That is why our projects are based on actions that create bonds and bring heart to our economic activity.
As a demonstration of our social investment policy, our objectives have been outlined in our “Corporate Social Responsibility Policy”.
Sponsorship of Tennis Player Cisco García
Since we learned about our friend Cisco’s accident three years ago and he expressed his goal of participating in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, we knew we wanted to be with him and accompany him on his journey.
A person with his strength and ability to overcome, along with his high level of effort and dedication, reflects our spirit in facing adversity.
He is a true role model, and society, especially young people, should look up to him and adjust their mindset to face day-to-day challenges in a more realistic way.

Collaboration with Medina Azahara Food Bank
As it could only be, LUQUE ECOLOGICO has a special sensitivity for those in need, and this has led us to collaborate for several years with the Medina Azahara Food Bank (Cordoba).
This non-profit association, declared of public utility, brings donated food to various Beneficiary Entities: charitable centers that help provide food to people in need.
Its activities involve collecting food, sorting it, storing it, and distributing it completely free and equitably among these Beneficiary Entities based on their needs and the number of People Assisted (Beneficiaries) by each of them. This work is carried out by volunteers who contribute their personal labor to this cause of solidarity, in a selfless and professional manner. The Food Bank serves charitable kitchens, elderly homes, drug rehabilitation centers, youth support centers, shelters for the disabled, centers for marginalized individuals, child care centers, shelters for immigrants, disabled persons, shelters for minors, and homeless shelters, among others.
It is a commendable and absolutely necessary task in today’s society.

Development Cooperation
Since 2010, LUQUE ECOLOGICO S. L. has started collaborating in international development cooperation projects with the Baobab Association – Mozambique, based in Córdoba.
Founded in 2007, the Baobab Mozambique Association is an organization that aims to promote development projects in Mozambique, either directly and/or through established institutions and missionaries present in the country, mainly the Comboni missionaries.
The priority groups are women, children, and university students from disadvantaged communities in this country, with the intention of generating structural changes that enable a social transformation towards self-sufficiency and equality of rights and opportunities.
Education, health, and socioeconomic development are the main areas of focus for the association’s projects.

MTB Team Juan Pedro Trujillo
A sport as tough as MTB and a champion as recognized as Juan Pedro Trujillo are two companions we joined in 2017, following the champion’s settlement in the town of Castro del Río, Córdoba.
His eagerness to compete and aspire to the highest accolades in national MTB competitions, along with his concern for developing future talent, motivated us to collaborate in sponsoring this team, with which we feel strongly connected.
Sponsorship of Women's Basketball Team CD. Alminar Esclavas
The importance of children’s sports, and more specifically, women’s sports in society, has led us to collaborate since 2014 with the Alminar Esclavas sports club through the sponsorship of the women’s basketball team in different categories.
This team competes in the Municipal Sports Games organized by the City Council of Córdoba each season, and its role is quite significant every year.
The values instilled by the Alminar Esclavas sports club, based on respect, discipline, continuous effort, and the drive for improvement, completely align with our company philosophy, so the partnership will continue to thrive for many more years.
