Luque Bio

OLEOTOURISM

EXPERIENCE A UNIQUE JOURNEY AROUND ORGANIC OLIVE OIL.
At LUQUE ECOLÓGICO, we have preserved and revived some of the ancient methods of olive oil extraction, combining them with the most modern technology to offer our visitors a broader perspective on its production:
  1. FIRST COLD PRESSING SYSTEM: Using hydraulic presses and mats.
  2. ACAPULCO METHOD (Partial Extraction): An ancestral system devised by the Marquis of Acapulco and Villanueva at the beginning of the 20th century. This method consists of collecting the “FLOWER OF THE OIL,” which refers to the small amount of olive juice that naturally drips through a simple metal mesh before the first cold pressing.
  3. COLD EXTRACTION (2 Phases): Through centrifugation processes, the different phases are separated: the liquid (oily) and the solid (olive pomace).
Other activities, both educational and gastronomic, are available, such as oil tastings, guided samplings, training sessions, “miller’s breakfasts,” and more.Additionally, in the ornamental courtyard, we have restored a large number of traditional tools used by the LUQUE family since time immemorial for agricultural work, creating a true ethnographic museum.Contact Information:
